On April 24, our 1st full day graders embarked on a meaningful field trip to the Baylands Nature Preserve. Students were so amazed by nature, observing and recognizing different birds living in the wetlands. Many concepts learned in the class were reviewed during this excursion such as camouflage and adaptation. Students were also introduced to several plants that live in the salt mud. What a great field trip to enhance our in class learning!
