The Squirrel Class kicked off the new month of February by going on a field trip to the Hiller Aviation Museum on Wednesday, Feb. 1st. What an enriching experience for our first graders! Not only were they able to see all different types of airplanes and learn about the history of flight, but they also learned about different types of clouds and how that could affect flight safety, went through an airplane stimulator, and boarded a real airplane. Through this experience, the students learned how important it was to persevere and be courageous no matter the obstacle. Watching our students learn and grow through this experience was such a joy for all of us!
