2nd Graders' Exploration About Magnets and Magnetism

Writer: Cornerstone SchoolCornerstone School

Updated: Oct 3, 2023

On September 13, it was the Grizzly Bear Class’s turn to visit the Palo Alto Junior Museum to further their knowledge of magnets and magnetism. During this field trip, the second graders learned about maglev trains and used this newfound knowledge of magnetism to create their own maglev train. It was an inspiration to see our students demonstrate their love for learning and resilience and cooperation when facing challenges in the engineering process. Congratulations to the Grizzly Bear Class for having a successful first field trip!
