2nd Graders' Filed Trip to Hidden Valley Farm

With the lovely spring weather upon us, the second graders in the Grizzly Bear Class went on a field trip to the Hidden Valley Farm on Wednesday, April 19. After going on a picturesque hike, the students went to visit the garden where they learned about different plants and got to sample different plant parts. This was followed by a visit to the petting zoo, where students learned about different animals and what could be made from different animal parts. The students were so thrilled to be out in nature and see and experience things they had been learning about in the classroom firsthand! We’re so glad the students were able to have such a meaningful educational experience!
