5th Graders' Learning About Water Filtration

Writer: Cornerstone SchoolCornerstone School

On Friday, September 20, the 5th Graders from the Flying Dragon Class went on a field trip focused on the water sewage process, complementing their social science studies on environmental conservation. During the visit, students learned about the key stages of water filtration, such as aeration, coagulation, sedimentation, filtration, and disinfection. They also had the chance to reflect on the significance of reducing pollution and conserving water. This experience encouraged the students to rethink their own water usage and explore immediate ways to help protect our planet's precious water resources. We look forward to seeing them apply their new knowledge to make a positive impact on the environment!
