Kindergartners Learned About Plants In The Rainforest At Palo Alto Junior Zoo And Museum

Writer: Cornerstone SchoolCornerstone School

The kindergartners in the Hippo Class ventured to the Palo Alto Junior Museum to see some of the plants and animals they had been learning about as part of their rainforest social science theme. In addition to meeting some of the inhabitants of the zoo, the students also learned about different edible plants in the rainforest such as sugar canes and cacao beans. They couldn’t wait to come back to school and share all about what they learned on their field trip!
